Okay, here is my experience about the Sentro knitting machine panel:
Recently, I got a 48-pin Sentro knitting machine. When I tried to use the panel mode, I found that it didn’t stop at the white peg. It seemed like it was always in tube mode, and there was no resistance at the end of a row. I was so confused and didn’t know what to do.
So, I started to search for solutions online. I read some articles and watched some videos. Someone said that the tension guide and feet might need to be replaced. I thought it might be the cause, so I removed the old tension piece and tried to install the new one.
- I also learned that the suction cup can be used to fix the machine.
- Adding some water under the suction cup can make it more stable.
- And the right grease is important for lubricating the machine. I used white lithium grease, and it worked well.
After some trial and error, I finally got the machine to work properly in panel mode. I was so excited! I knitted two stitches together and they became one. It was amazing!
However, it’s a little tricky. Those two little parts that work together to make sure the needles are in the right place. I always mix them up. And the needles! Don’t even get me started on those. They seem to have a mind of their own.
Now I can use my Sentro knitting machine to create all kinds of projects. I’m so happy that I didn’t give up and finally figured it out. It was a bit challenging, but totally worth it!
